3300 LG STAFFERS PROMOTED WITH 27 MAKING HISTORY BY REACHING GRADE LEVEL 16 - CHIEF SIMON TANGNI, LGSC BOSS.
...NULGE GIVES MUTFWANG, TANGNI AND LGSC THREE GBOSAS FOR JINX BREAKING PROMOTIONS.

Three Thousand and Three Hundred (3300) Local Government Staffers of the Plateau State Local Government Service Commission (LGSC) have been promoted to various positions with twenty seven(27) being promoted to Grade Level 16.
This was declared by the Executive Chairman of the Plateau State Local Government Service Commission,Chief Simon Tangni at the Conference Hall of the Commission on Wednesday 23rd August 2023 while meeting with the Acting Directors of Personnel Management (DPM) of the 17 LGCs in Jos, the Plateau State Capital.
Tangni said the jinx of the Plateau State Local Government Service Commission Staffers who end their career at Grade Level 15 is now broken with the promotion of hardworking staff being promoted to level 16 by the Governor Caleb Mutfwang's Time is now Administration, under the able leadership of Chief Simon Tangni as it's Executive Chairman.
In his welcome address, Chief Simon Tangni, the Executive Chairman of the LGSC, hinted that the main objective of the newly inaugurated LGSC is not to change people or the system but is to change the system to work and function very well to enable the LGSC to partner with workers to achieve the set goals for which the commission was created.
Tangni, the former Pankshin LGC Chairman, also confirmed that the promotion is an ongoing exercise which is aimed at rewarding hardwork and discipline.
He urged the Acting DPMs to be fully in charge in their respective LGCs as cashier's will be posted to the 17 LGCs before the week runs out.
On the issue of motivation, Tangni promised to reward hardwork and improve the welfare needs of the LGSC workers.
He said he appreciated the thunderous applause of the DPMs over their promotions but wants to see the result of the promotion in serving humanity better and improving the LGC system because,when you do good, you see good.
In conclusion, the Executive Chairman of the Plateau State LGSC, Chief Tangni charged the workers and the DPMs that if you are afraid of anything, then you are the cause of the fear. Tangni clarified that in compliance to the mandate of the
Barr Caleb Mutfwang era which is the "Time is now Administration", the time for their promotion is now.
Tangni assured the Plateau State Chapter of the Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees (NULGEE) Vice Chairman and Auditor present, that the Mutfwang Administration will do more than they expect as can be exemplified with the promotion of 3300 staff of the LGCs and breaking history of promoting the LGC staffers from Grade Level 15 to Grade Level 16 making Plateau State to be the fourth state in Nigeria to have broken the jinx of stagnating it's workers on Grade Level 15.
The Executive Chairman admonished the 17 LGC workers to take their work seriously and if they take their work serious, they will be rewarded but if they joke with their jobs, they will be penalized according to the civil service rules.
Tangni urged the Plateau LGC workers to partner with the "Time is Now Administration".
He advised all those with higher certificates to quickly bring them now so that they can benefit from it under the "Time is Now Administration" which values education, training and re training.
The Chairman in a symbolic demonstration, issued the promotion letters to Mrs Manya Kumbin,the Acting Director of Personnel Management (DPM) of Mangu LGC,Alhaji Keepsuak Mohammed Ibrahim of Jos North LGC and Mrs Christy Loyi, the Acting DPM of Langtang North LGC who will in turn distribute the promotion letters to the 3300 newly promoted officers across the 17 LGCs of Plateau State.
Mr Pyalson Yohanna,the Director of Administration (DA) and the Acting Permanent Secretary of the LGSC in his remarks said the purpose of the meeting is to interact with the 17 LGC DPMs on the issue of the welfare of the LG workers.
He said the presently constituted Plateau State Local Government Service Commission is honourable in keeping their words by not stalling any conversion and promotion requests.
The DA said the commission has done a substantial number of the conversion and promotion requests.He equally said the commission has done a substantial number of the conversion and promotion and will give promotion letters to deserving staff of the 17 LGCs thus, the DPMs should relax as no query will be given to anyone but promotion to well deserving officers.
Mr Pyalson Yohanna,the DA and Acting Permanent Secretary of the Commission reminded the DPMs of the slogan of the Executive Chairman which is "if you are doing good, do very good and if you are doing very good, do very very good", and that the commission is doing exceptionally good.
In his address, Comrade Shamdong Jepca Ayuba, the National Auditor of NULGE, the focal DPM for all DPMs and the Acting DPM of Wase LGC said the National Leadership of NULGE have been receiving the good reports of motivation that the Plateau State Governor, Barr Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, the Leader of the Time is Now Administration, as well as the efforts of the newly inaugurated Plateau State Local Government Service Commission under the Chairmanship of Chief Simon Tangni are doing cushion the pains of the workers at the 17 LGCs.
Ayuba said the the efforts are not only worth commending but need recognising. He said Plateau State Is the fourth to break the jinx of promoting LGC Staff from Grade level 15 to Grade level 16, this therefore, indicates that the Executive Chairman of the LGSC means business because just within three weeks of assumption of office, the chairman has fulfilled his promise.
Ayuba thanked the Chairman and his team for this feat and hinted that it is normal and good that Government policies starts from top to bottom.
The National Auditor of NULGE and Wase LGC DPMs,said there will be results through education, training and re– fraininig.
Comrade Ayuba showered blessings on the Governor, Chairman, Commissioner's 1&2 and the "Time is Now Administration".
Comrade Josiah Simput, the Deputy NULGE President of Plateau State in his remarks thanked the Chairman and the Commissioner's very much for the promotion and the motivation.
He said to whom much is given, much is expected, therefore, they are very grateful to Governor Caleb Mutfwang, Chairman Simon Tangni and all members and staff of the commission for the wonderful news of their promotion and that NULGE will continue to encourage NULGE staffers to support the Government of the "Time is Now Administration".
Simput asked all presents to give three gbosas to Governor Caleb Mutfwang, Chairman Simon Tangni, Commissioners 1&2 and all staffers of the Commission for breaking the Jinx where LGC workers stagnated in Grade Level 15 but the Commission in August, 2023 has initiated and promoted staff to Grade Level 16.
The 17 LGC Acting DPMs at the meeting were Mr Silas ,Jos South LGC, Yakubu Bereh, Jos East LGC, Rose Vwi Malo, Kanke LGC , Manding Dung, Riyom LGC, Shamdung Jepca , Wase LGC, Victoria Gbiang, Kanam LGC, Damulak Swamural Dacken, Pankshin LGC, Angela Yirlong, Bokkos LGC, Manya Kumbin, Mangu LGC, Lenge Ishaku Joseph, Shendam LGC, Christy Loyi, Langtang North LGC, Nuhu Sirpo, Mikang LGC, Esther I.A. Davidson, B/ladi LGC, Keepsuak Mohammed Ibrahim , Jos North LGC, Arin Dauda Amah, Bassa LGC , Zinkat Lohga Bala, Langtang South LGC.
The Commission staff present were Mr Pyalson Yohanna, DA & Acting Permanent Secretary, Yanshi , DOT, Yakubu Then , DOB, Masot DFS, Kangyang Gwalson , DDA & Aminchi Joshua, Information Officer.
